The focus of Bellamy Penn LLC’s practice is advising public utilities in regulatory proceedings before the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (“DCPSC”). The firm’s members have decades of regulatory law experience.
Ms. Bellamy had a distinguished career at what is now Verizon that culminated in her serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Verizon Business in which she oversaw a national staff handling regulatory matters, external affairs and litigation. Her career there began when she served as the General Counsel of what was then known as C&P Telephone Company, a position in which she regularly appeared before the DCPSC.
Mr. Penn has advised public utilities on regulatory matters before the DCPSC for more than thirty years as
well as in appeals taken from DCPSC final orders to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
